Melanie O'Reilly is one of Ireland's foremost musicians. Her fusion of contemporary Celtic influences and jazz music results in a unique and fascinating artistic adventure. The listener is invariably intrigued, then seduced, and finally converted by her ingenius interweaving of influences, and unfailing ability to breathe life into the spiritual dimension of that most spiritual of media.

Her debut album "Tir na Mara"/"The Sea Kingdom" met with widespread critical acclaim - this idiosychratic blend of styles backed by meaning-laden lyrics and impeccable musical performance has established Melanie O'Reilly as a leading figure in the Irish, and increasingly international, music scene.
